How to suspend a user

This demo assumes you've already logged in to Direct Admin as a reseller

Now let's learn how to suspend a user in Direct Admin

1) Click the List Users link

2) Let's go ahead a suspend the user newuser..... click here and then click the Suspend/Unsuspend button

This is the main user management screen where you can suspend users, unsuspend them, send them messages, change their passwords, etc.

You may wish to suspend a user if their account is past due, if they are spamming, or if they are hosting content that is against your Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

We can see here that all 3 users in this reseller plan are NOT suspended

That's it! The user newuser has been suspended, as you can see here

By suspended this user's account, their website becomes inaccessible for viewing, or connecting to via FTP, and their email will also stop working

3) We can unsuspend the account just as easily.... let's do that now

The user has been unsuspended, as indicated here

4) Click the Home icon here
