Creating Additional Departments in Vision Helpdesk

The departments can be created and managed under the company or domain. Each domain can have number of departments. In the left panel of the of the manage portal, one can see the tree like structure that consists of Domain at the top followed by the departments and each of the department is having ticket statuses. The settings related to the departments of the particular domains can be done using Department settings. It will contain all the details related to the department.

Creating Additional Departments in Vision Helpdesk

  1. Navigate your web browser to to access your administrator support login.
  2. On the left hand side, locate the Settings button
  3. Within Settings, you will see different icons sectioned off. Find the section labeled Ticket. Once you have found the Ticket section, look for the icon labeled Department
  4. Click Department
  5. Click the Add button located on the right hand side of the screen
  6. Fill in the fields, and then check enabled
